The Big Bee Buffet Collection
What do you get?
A specially selected collection of nine varieties of herbs that the bees will really enjoy while visiting your growing space!
Bees are incredible, useful and hardworking creatures that do so much to enhance our environment. They are essential to human existence, in fact! Sadly they are increasingly deprived of sources of pollination – especially in urban areas. There are many varieties of herb plant that the bees absolutely love, and are excellent sources of pollen. These herbs are also very tasty and smell amazing too.
In a day and age in which low-maintenance gardening and paved drives are the norm for most of us, planting up a few pots of herbs on our front drive or paved back garden can do so much to help the plight of the bees. This collection is for you to enjoy. But mainly the bees!
The flavours that the bees are going to be enjoying:
Lavender Munstead - you will absolutely adore the beautiful, bushy silver foliage that this variety produces as well as the incredible scent and vibrant purple flowers later in the season. But you will also love seeing bees working away busily among the foliage of this plant on a summer morning.
Aztec Sweet Herb - this variety is perfect as a sweet herb but also the bees absolutely love it, with its little white flowers and creeping growing habit. The flowers will keep them very busy during the season!
Lavender Beezee Pink - a lovely and unusual variety of English Lavender that has beautiful, bright silver foliage and produces pretty pink flowers that the bees will love!
Thyme - this variety has an amazing flavour that is so versatile and also lots of dainty flowers that bees will enjoy working away on throughout summer. Perfect for a container or hanging basket.
