is a fantastic 'cut and come again' herb, which provides a delicious garlic flavour that you will love.  It is great for wildlife too, loved by butterflies and bees when its white flowers put on a show during the summer. What's more, it flowers later in the season than traditional chives, so can provide some fantastic colour in your kitchen garden later into the season.

As the name suggests, Garlic Chives have a mild garlic flavour with a hint of onion. The taste is more subtle than regular garlic, making it a popular choice for those who enjoy a milder garlic essence in their dishes. Unusually, the entire plant is edible, and both the leaves and flowers are used in cooking. Commonly added to salads, soups, stir-fries, and noodle dishes, garlic chives bring a mild garlic-onion flavour to the table. They can also be used as a garnish or incorporated into dips and sauces; we think they make a mean garlic butter!

Garlic Chive plants are relatively easy to grow and can thrive in a variety of soil types. They prefer well-drained soil and full to partial sunlight. These herbs are often grown in home gardens and containers, plus, they are perennial, meaning they can come back year after year.
