Autumn Herb Collection
What do you get?
In this collection you receive six of our favourite herbs to plant ready to plant now to get established for your autumnal herb garden. This is a time of year when we all appreciate strong flavours and colour within our kitchen garden space.
The flavours you are going to be enjoying:
Purple Sage - beautiful purple foliage that becomes more beautiful as the weather gets colder. Looks great in autumnal low level sunlight. The flavour is a kitchen garden classic. Perfect for adding to dishes during the colder evenings.
Thyme Archers Gold - beautiful flavour with subtle lemony twist. The foliage of this variety is bright and attractive.
Trailing Rosemary - So versatile. Perfect for planting in hanging baskets or raised beds where this variety will spill and trail while looking delightful. Rosemary is such a classic flavour that will always be welcome in our kitchen.
Golden Thyme - really eye catching variety with bright foliage. Classic Thyme flavour that is so versatile in winter cooking.
Orange Thyme - really attractive upright growth. We had to include this variety in our autumnal collection. The flavour is light and delicious. The aroma makes us smile. It's beautiful and really does smell like Orange!
Lavender Vera - a beautiful and classical variety of Lavender. We included this variety within our autumnal collection because the distinctive silver foliage of Vera looks unbelievably beautiful as we head into autumn. When the low level late September sunlight hits this variety you will see exactly what we mean!
How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
