We love this Caribbean Mix of dried herbs. Back in 2012 we created this blend with the help of a Caribbean street food trader in Birmingham. He guided us in blending a nice mix of herbs for background flavour to use in seasoning both stewed veg and jerk chicken.
The flavour of Thyme comes through strongly in this blend. It is really deep and lovely. You will also taste more than a little Scotch Bonnet Chilli. None of our herb blends are meant to be in anyway "extreme" but this blend lends a pleasant kick to your cooking.
We would recommend adding this blend early on in your cooking process so that the flavour dissipates evenly through your dish.
