Summer Foodie Collection
What do you get?
We wanted to put ALL of the most amazing foodie herbs that we love to grow in the summer herb garden together in one collection. We are foodies who love to grow. And we REALLY love this collection!
The foodie herbs that you will be enjoying:
Oregano - a gorgeous ingredient commonly used in Mediterranean cooking and perfect for adding to summer dishes. We love adding Oregano to homemade pizza.
Alpine Strawberry - a lovely variety that yields delicious, sweet little strawberries that can be eaten with your porridge in the morning (like we do!).
Compact Marjoram - a classic of Mediterranean cooking, this is lovely on a homemade pizza or used with pasta dishes. This variety of Marjoram has compact leaves that really pack some flavour.
BBQ Rosemary - the wood-smoked cousin of the trusty Rosemary plant, this variety has a lovely, earthy flavour that is amazing with roast dinners and barbecues!
Samphire - this is such a wonderfully unusual variety, which many of you may recognise from the seaside! Amazing when cooked with fish and watered with salt water, we love growing this variety.
Lemon Variegated Thyme - this gorgeous evergreen herb is a constant presence within your herb garden. It looks stunning throughout the year and you will love it's delicious, sweet lemony flavour.
Purple Sage - beautiful deep, purple foliage that looks better and better as we travel towards autumn. Delicious, classic sage flavour.
Mushroom Plant - A really unusual variety. Glossy attractive leaves, which produce beautiful blue flowers. And the leaves also carry a strong mushroom flavour. Sounds bizarre? It truly is. But it is also amazing and very tasty!
Garlic Chives - a garlic-flavoured cousin to Chives, Garlic Chives can be used whenever you want to add garlic to your dish. The white flowers are beautiful too!
*We update the plants featured within this collection each week based on stock levels. This collection was last updated on 19/07/23.
How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
