What do you get?

A specially selected collection of nine plants -  nine varieties of herbs that we hope will form the basis of a lovely spring herb garden.

The herbs that will fill your spring herb garden:

Lavender Edelweiss - this highly unusual variety of Lavender produces white flowers on stems throughout the summer months.  We love the aroma of this plant as we brush past it.

Creeping Red Thyme - each year our stock of Creeping Red Thyme plants are covered in hard working bees. It's so good to see.

Oregano 'Hot n Spicy' - a fantastic variety of Oregano with a little extra spice, that you can use in your cooking to give it a kick! Great in Italian and Mexican dishes, especially.

Golden Thyme  - we think that this variety looks truly at it's best on cold early spring days.  It contains a subtle thyme flavour within attractive bright golden foliage.

Alpine Strawberry - really fun variety that produces tiny strawberry fruits that contain a really strong flavour.  We love watching these grow throughout the season

Creeping Lemon Thyme - low growing variety of Lemon Thyme that looks so gorgeous in low level sunlight.  Beautiful aroma.

Purple Sage - lovely variety of Sage with attractive purple foliage.

Moroccan Mint - a culinary, classic variety of mint with a deep musky flavour that is perfect for using to make mint sauce.  Makes a great cup of mint tea too!

Winter Savory - this is a gorgeous evergreen herb with a delicious peppery flavour.  Perfect for adding to soups and stew.

How big are the plants?

All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
