Fighting for Ginger Mint by Theresa Perry

All season I have been championing Ginger Mint.  The leaves are beautiful and fun. You never know where the stunning yellow areas are going to grow on the deep green foliage.  I have been trying to persuade Mr Urban Herbs that it is a worthy champion. The number of times it has outlasted and exceeded expectations and really come into its own.

At home, I have planted three Ginger Mints in a trough.  They started slowly and are know spreading and look fantastic against the wooden fence backdrop. They have been quite happy just getting on with the job of growing without any fuss. I put the trough in a slightly more shady area which they seem to have enjoyed.
