There is far more to a good gin and tonic than gin and tonic. The garnishes, herbs and aromatics you add can completely change the character of the drink — and The Gin Botanicals Herb Collection gives you six wonderfully fragrant plants to grow, pick and experiment with at home.

This collection includes:

    • Variegated Lemon Thyme – A beautiful thyme with green and cream foliage and a wonderfully fresh lemon fragrance. Try a small sprig with gin, tonic and a slice of lemon for a deliciously aromatic citrus twist.
    • Cola Plant – One of those plants that everyone has to smell at least once. Brush or gently rub the silvery foliage and you’ll discover an extraordinary fragrance reminiscent of cola. A brilliant talking point and a fascinating botanical to experiment with as a garnish.
    • Lemon Verbena – Few plants can compete with Lemon Verbena for sheer intensity of citrus fragrance. Just a leaf or two can bring a beautifully clean, fresh lemon aroma to summer drinks and gin-based cocktails.
    • Orange Mint – A wonderfully aromatic mint combining the familiar freshness of mint with distinctive citrus notes. Particularly good when you want something a little softer and fruitier than traditional mint.
    • Hugo Mint – A mint selected with drinks in mind and an obvious choice for anyone who enjoys a refreshing Hugo-style cocktail. Its fresh aromatic foliage works beautifully alongside gin, elderflower, citrus and tonic.
    • Mojito Mint – Famous for its association with the classic mojito, but far too useful to reserve for rum alone. Its refreshing mint flavour makes it an excellent addition to gin cocktails, long drinks and homemade botanical combinations.

Six plants. Endless combinations. Your own gin botanical garden, ready whenever it's G&T time.

We update the plants featured within this collection each week based on stock levels. This collection was last updated on 26/08/2026.

How big are the plants?

All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft-grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
