What do you get?
During the last decade, Urban Herbs travelled around the UK visiting food festivals and working at events such as BBC Good Food Show. This collection contains nine of the herbs that chefs at these events have been very excited about!
The foodie herbs that you will be enjoying:
Spicy Thyme - this brand new variety of thyme has been bred to bring a chilli kick alongside the classic thyme flavour that we know and love. This plant is going to be VERY popular with chefs.
Mushroom Plant - this variety is so much fun, producing glossy foliage that give a lovely, earthy mushroom flavour that is just delicious. We love to add the leaves to cooking, salads and sandwiches.
Golden Thyme - this gorgeous variety has the classic flavour of Thyme that we know and love, within beautiful golden foliage that looks amazing in all kinds of dishes.
Lemon Verbena - a classic variety for those who love a sweet, lemony flavour in their cooking. Lemon Verbena has an incredible flavour that is perfect for sweet and sour dishes, hot and cold drinks, and it can even be used to make lemon drizzle cake!
Oregano - a herb garden classic that is perfect for adding to pasta dishes or homemade pizza!
Orange Thyme - lush foliage that has a refreshing citrus smell and produces beautiful, dainty flowers during summer. Perfect for chicken dishes, baking or using to make a relaxing evening herbal tea.
Olive Herb - chefs absolutely rave about this plant which is hardy, easy to grow, but within its foliage, it contains the delicious flavour of olive. Perfect for pairing with pasta and pizza dishes
French Tarragon - in this delicious foodie variety, the classic anise flavour of Tarragon is so strong and can be paired beautifully with chicken, fish and egg dishes.
Vietnamese Coriander - a beautiful variety that gives you the flavour of Coriander but is a lot easier to grow and looks stunning in your garden. This is perfect for rice dishes, salads and as a garnish.

How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
