Lovely deep, musky variety with a wide range of culinary applications. It has a bright and refreshing spearmint flavour with a hint of sweetness that makes it sing. Its aroma is invigorating and works well in a sensory garden space to bring joy to those walking through as they brush past the leaves. It's dainty, vibrant green leaves are such a pretty sight, plus its compact nature makes it a good option for hanging baskets, vertical planters or as low-growing cover.

In terms of culinary use, Moroccan Mint plants can be used in a vast selection of dishes, but we particularly love them in Moroccan and Middle Eastern dishes. From curries and couscous-based recipes to mint yoghurts, desserts and drinks (hello mojitos), it's a very versatile herb that you'll be glad to have added to your collection.

In terms of planting and positioning, Moroccan mint thrives in well-drained soil with partial shade, but isn't hugely fussy if you're limited on planting spots. Just make sure you contain your herbs within a pot, whether it's pot grown, or grown in a pot sunken into the ground, to stop the mint from taking over your entire garden space with a minty-fresh forest.
