What do you get?

During the last decade, Urban Herbs travelled around the UK visiting food festivals and working at events such as BBC Good Food Show.  This collection contains six of the herbs that chefs at these events have got very excited about.

The flavours you are going to be enjoying:

BBQ Rosemary - the classic flavour of rosemary is combined with a subtle smokey kick.  Chefs that we have worked with absolutely LOVE this one.

Garlic Chives - the classic flavour of chives is combined with more than a hint of garlic within this beautiful herb plant.  Perfect for adding to stir-fries or using to make posh cheese on toast!

Vietnamese Coriander - this variety provides a hint of classic coriander flavour, combined with a delicious lemony and slightly spicy kick. Perfect when added to curries and rice dishes.

Burnet Salad - fantastic come and come again salad herb, perfect as a starter dish or as a garnish.

Basil Mint - this grows with all of the enthusiasm of mint but when cooked provides an interesting basil flavour.  Chefs that we work with have raved about this plant. It really is special.

Thai Mint - this highly unusual variety of mint provides a delicious minty/caraway flavour and is absolutely loved by chefs that we have worked with.  It's dark green leaves contrast against beautiful red stems and is perfect for use in Thai cooking.

*We update the plants featured within this collection each week based on stock levels. This collection was last updated on 26/06/24.

How big are the plants?

All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft-grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
