What do you get?

During the last decade, Urban Herbs travelled around the UK visiting food festivals and working at events such as BBC Good Food Show.  This collection contains six of the herbs that chefs at these events have got very excited about.

The flavours you are going to be enjoying:

BBQ Rosemary - the classic flavour of rosemary is combined with a subtle smokey kick.  Chefs that we have worked with absolutely LOVE this one.

Vietnamese Coriander - this variety provides a hint of classic coriander flavour, combined with a delicious lemony and slightly spicy kick. Perfect when added to curries and rice dishes.

Chocolate Mint - a seriously versatile flavour.  This is a very sweet variety of peppermint that chefs have used to season meat, add as a garnish to deserts or simply create a beautiful cup of mint tea.

Lemon Verbena - we know that you guys love this one.  A very sweet lemony flavour that can be used to provide a sweet and sour flavour or as a topping for desserts.

Basil Mint - this is a variety that grows with the enthusiasm of mint, while providing you with a delicious basil flavour.  When eaten raw you will experience a perfect fusion of mint and basil, but when lightly cooked you will be left with a flavour similar to Greek Basil!

Sorrel Bloody Dock - a fantastic cut and come again salad herb, Sorrel Bloody Dock is great in a salad or as a garnish, and has incredible patterns on the leaves which will really set off your dish.

*We update the plants featured within this collection each week based on stock levels. This collection was last updated on 24/04/24.

How big are the plants?

All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft-grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
