This is an incredible variety of Peppermint with an extra sweet flavour to it which is a must-have in your herb garden. The leaves smell like mint chocolates and will make your mouth water every single time you brush past the fragrant leaves. It's a really good option for a family-friendly herb garden too, offering up a tasty treat for you little ones picked fresh off the plant. Plus, it's pretty phenomenal chopped on ice cream but makes a lovely Mint tea, and that's just a few of the ways we've tried eating this delicious plant.
Mint is a really easy way to get your herb garden started as they require only a small amount of maintenance throughout the year. Regular prunings will keep your plant in the best condition, giving you an abundence of fresh, sweet leaves to exeperement with in the kitchen. As with all mint plants, we strongly suggest that you keep them contained as they can very quickly take over a garden space. Either plant them into a pot of their own - their showstopping architecture and gorgeous green leaves make enough of a statement on their own - or pop them into a large plastic pot and sink them into the ground to soil level so that you can add them into a garden border.
We've created a whole guide on how to grow mint covering planting and positioning, propagation and pruning as well as a whole host of other tips and tricks to ensure you're ready to hit the ground running as soon as your Chocolate Mint Plants arrive!
