A specially selected collection of nine plants - nine varieties of herbs that we hope will form the basis of a lovely hardy herb garden as we head towards autumn and winter.
From staples of the herb garden to more unusual varieties to stand out in your growing space, this collection is perfect for the colder months!
The herbs that will fill your spring herb garden:
Rosemary - this classic herb garden staple is very resilient and will stay evergreen throughout winter! With its delicious scent and beautiful, purple flowers, this herb has the magical ability to make us feel hungry.
Thyme 'Archers Gold' - this is a low growing variety of thyme with gorgeous golden/green foliage that will provide a focal point in your garden throughout the winter.
Lavender 'Beezee Blue' - this hardy variety of Lavender will fill your herb garden with aroma and scent, while the grey/green foliage will be a focal point in your growing space in the colder months.
Compact Marjoram - this is such a lovely variety, similar in flavour to Oregano and can be used in the same way, while also being evergreen and producing lots of pretty little flowers in late summer!
Rose Scented Thyme - a gorgeous, hardy variety of thyme with a difference. The foliage contains a subtle but delicious rose flavour within heart shaped leaves.
Thyme - easy to grow, hardy and evergreen with a fantastic flavour, this classic variety is a beautiful herb to add to roast dinners, soups and winter stews.
Oregano Hot & Spicy - a fantastic variety for those that like a bit of spice, this variety of Oregano has an additional Jalapeno kick to it which is delicious in warming, cosy dishes during the colder months. It is also evergreen throughout autumn and winter.
Variegated Lemon Thyme- on a cold winter day you will really appreciate the sweet lemon flavour that this plant provides, within attractive gold/green foliage.
Munstead Lavender - this English Lavander variety provides all the beautiful Lavender scent in its silver foliage with some amazing violet flowers in late summer.

How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
