A specially selected collection of nine plants that we rotate every few weeks, as the plants within this collection must meet VERY strict criteria. They must be either strange, beautiful or BOTH.
Every few weeks we bring together a collection of our absolute favourite herbs that we adore. Most of the plants that we grow are either strange, beautiful or both, and these are our favourites. Below are the plants that you will receive when ordering the collection this week!
The herbs that you will be enjoying:
Oregano 'Hot & Spicy' - this is Oregano but not as we know it! This fantastic plant combines the classic delicious flavour of Oregano with more than a hint of spice. It's perfect for adding to pasta, pizza or Mexican dishes.
Thyme 'Pink Ripple' - this Thyme plant is one of our favourites, as it is a bushier variety that is perfect for providing a pop of colour with its bright green foliage, while producing hundreds of dainty pink flowers during the summer months. It is so beautiful!
Purple Sage - this variety is amazing, as it gives you the traditional, earthy flavour of Sage but within a beautiful, purple leaf that looks more and more striking as the seasons change!
Thyme 'Silver Posie' - this evergreen, spreading variety of Thyme shows off a gorgeous splash of silver within its attractive foliage. It looks stunning when it flowers during the summer, but you will enjoy its foliage throughout the year as it provides a lovely bit of colour.
Spicy Thyme - this plant really is unusual, as it gives you a lovely Thyme flavour with an unmistakable spicy kick too! This is a great variety for using in your cooking as well as giving you beautiful flowers during the warmer months.
Pineapple Mint - this unusual Mint variety has beautiful green and cream variegated leaves that look absolutely stunning in your growing space, as well as giving you a delightfully tropical flavour and scent within its foliage. We love this variety!
Thyme 'Pink Chintz' - we think that this best-selling variety is one of the most attractive varieties of Thyme within the herb garden, with its incredible carpet of pink flowers and evergreen leaves that look even better during cold weather. This one is perfect for groundcover too!
Kentucky Colonel Mint - this herb plant provides an incredibly sweet Mint flavour that not only is great in a Mint tea but is also lovely as a Mint sauce or in a cocktail (it was the Mint of choice for Mint Julep cocktails at the Kentucky Derby back in the day!).
Mountain Mint - did we save the strangest plant in this collection until the bottom of the list? Absolutely! This variety is genuinely unique, providing a strong Mint aroma and flavour from its attractive, silver foliage, while not being an actual part of the Mint family. We love this variety!

How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft-grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
