Classic Herb Garden Collection
What do you get?
A specially selected collection of nine plants; the classic varieties that we hope will fill your spring herb garden with joy at the start of the growing season.
This collection is all about the 'staples', the classic varieties that are perfect for beginning a herb garden from scratch, plants that we simply couldn't be without.
The herb classics that will fill your herb garden:
Apple Mint - this classic variety of mint spreads strongly, so is definitely best planted in a container separately! Perfect for using to make mint sauce or making herbal tea, for that subtle mint and apple combination.
Hidcote Lavender - a classic variety of Lavender that produces lots of stunning dark blue Lavender flowers that look so beautiful in your growing space!
Rosemary - with its delicious scent, beautiful green foliage and blue flowers, Rosemary is one of our favourites, looking good throughout the year.
Variegated Lemon Thyme - this variety of Thyme has a beautiful lemon flavour and vibrant green and yellow variegation in its foliage that looks striking in your spring herb garden.
Sage- this is a herb garden classic, its grey, fragrant and evergreen foliage is an evergreen staple within the herb garden throughout the year.
Chives - a staple of the herb garden, Chives produce attractive stems containing a strong onion flavour, with beautiful pink edible flowers during spring.
Garden Mint - this is a herb garden classic variety that we use every week to make mint sauce, season potatoes or chop into a salad. It spreads vigorously, so please keep this variety contained from the rest of the herb garden.
Lavender Munstead - hardy with attractive silver, fragrant foliage and the iconic purple Lavender flowers, we love this variety of Lavender!
Common Thyme - we absolutely love this hardy, evergreen and fragrant Thyme plant that has the quintessential thyme flavour that we all love, and lush foliage that is fantastic in your herb garden!
*We update the plants featured within this collection each week based on stock levels. This collection was last updated on 4/03/2026.
How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
