In this collection, you receive nine of our favourite varieties of Thyme, which are ready to plant now to get established for your autumnal herb garden.  This is a time of year when we all appreciate strong flavours and colour within our kitchen garden space.

The flavours you are going to be enjoying:

Rose-scented Thyme - this very usual variety of Thyme has beautiful heart-shaped leaves and has a lovely, sweet floral scent that makes us think of Turkish Delight. This is one of our favourites!

Thyme 'Snowdrift' - this is a very unusual, low-growing variety of thyme which boasts attractive evergreen foliage throughout the year, with beautiful white flowers from midsummer into autumn.  Perfect for groundcover.

Common Thyme - we absolutely love this hardy, evergreen and highly fragrant plant that provides such a beautiful and strong Thyme flavour.  Perfect for pairing with chicken or fish dishes, with the promise of beautiful flowers during summer.

Thyme 'Caborn Wine & Roses' - this low-growing variety grows prolifically and its evergreen foliage is perfect for groundcover during the colder months. The many pink flowers it produces in the summer are also really pretty!

Variegated Lemon Thyme - this plant contains all the beautiful aroma and flavour of lemon thyme, within highly attractive foliage that begins to turn golden as the seasons change. It's variegated gold/green foliage really is stunning on a winter day.

Thyme 'Archer's Gold' - this is a really pretty, low-growing variety of thyme with light green/golden foliage.  It produces flowers from summer into autumn, but its evergreen foliage makes it perfect for use as ground cover in a pot, container or hanging basket.

Golden Thyme- the golden foliage of this low-growing variety looks stunning throughout autumn and winter.  The changing seasons actually intensifies the colour within the leaves.

Orange Thyme - a delightful variety of Thyme that really does have that beautiful citrus flavour and produces pretty flowers in summer.  Perfect for an evergreen presence and the foliage looks beautiful throughout autumn and winter as it catches the raindrops. 

Thyme ' Silver Posie' - did we save the best variety until last on this list? Of course! Silver Posie is a highly unusual and stunning variegated variety of Thyme that really does sparkle during autumnal days with low-level sunlight.

How big are the plants?

All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
