Welcome to the world of Munstead Lavender, a fragrant delight that will turn your garden into a haven of relaxation. Growing Munstead Lavender in the UK is a rewarding endeavor, and with a bit of care, you can enjoy its aromatic blooms and soothing properties.

This is a dwarf variety of Lavender and therefore suitable for planting in smaller urban gardens or in containers, perfect for those of us in the UK who might be limited on space. It can also be used effectively to make a low growing fragrant hedge. As an extra bonus, you'll see bees and butterflies flock around the flowers as a nectar source in mid to late summer, providing a much needed source of pollination. If you need some advice on how to grow Lavender - it's a question we get asked all of the time - then check out our in-depth guide with tips and tricks to help you to get started.

Whilst lavender is a very well known herb, not many people make the most of this tasty treat in the kitchen even thought its possibilities are seemingly endless. A few of our favourite ways to make use of these pretty, perfect flowers is to mix dried blooms in with sugar which can be used for baking, to make lavender-infused olive oils for cooking, or to create rubs for meat and vegetables before they go into the oven to roast. In addition, the dried blooms work wonderfully as a garnish to a selection of cocktails, frozen into ice cubes or sprinkled over a dessert.

If you're looking for another brilliant variety, why not take a look at Hidcote Lavender?
