The Big Bee Buffet Collection
What do you get?
A specially selected collection of nine varieties of herbs that the bees will absolutely love visiting throughout the growing season!
Bees are some of the hardest-working creatures in our gardens and play an essential role in pollinating many of the flowers, fruits and vegetables that we all enjoy. Unfortunately, modern gardens and urban spaces often provide fewer nectar-rich flowers than they once did, making it increasingly important to grow plants that support these amazing pollinators.
The good news is that many herbs are packed with nectar and produce masses of flowers that bees simply can't resist. Not only will this collection help provide an important food source for local pollinators, but you'll also enjoy a beautiful display of fragrant herbs that are perfect for cooking, filling your garden with scent and bringing your growing space to life.
The plants your garden visitors will love:
Creeping Red Thyme – A low-growing thyme that produces a spectacular carpet of rich pink-red flowers, making it one of the very best nectar plants for bees while also providing delicious culinary leaves.
Garlic Chives – Elegant white flower heads appear in late summer and quickly become a magnet for bees and hoverflies, while the garlic-flavoured leaves are a kitchen favourite.
Woolly Thyme – Soft silver foliage creates an attractive groundcover before producing delicate flowers that are eagerly visited by pollinating insects.
Thyme 'Snowdrift' – Smothered in masses of pure white flowers during summer, creating a striking display that attracts bees in huge numbers.
Thyme 'Caborn Wine & Roses' – One of the most ornamental thymes, producing vibrant pink flowers above colourful foliage that provides an irresistible nectar source for pollinators.
Rosemary – An evergreen favourite whose blue flowers are often among the earliest available to bees, providing an important source of nectar when little else is in bloom.
Thyme 'Sparkling Bright' – Beautiful golden-variegated foliage adds year-round interest, while its summer flowers provide a valuable food source for bees and butterflies.
Hyssop Blue – Tall spikes of vivid blue flowers are loved by bees, bumblebees and butterflies, bringing movement, colour and wildlife into the garden throughout summer.
Lavender 'Vera' – A timeless cottage garden favourite, producing fragrant purple flower spikes that are famous for attracting bees in extraordinary numbers while filling the air with wonderful scent.
Whether you're hoping to encourage more wildlife into your garden or simply enjoy watching bees busily moving from flower to flower, The Bee Buffet Herb Collection offers the perfect combination of beauty, fragrance and biodiversity. A garden filled with herbs is always a joy—but when it's alive with pollinators, it becomes something truly special.
