This collection is all about the 'staples', the classic varieties that are perfect for beginning a herb garden from scratch, plants that we simply couldn't be without.
The herb classics that will fill your herb garden:
Variegated Lemon Thyme - this mid-growing variety of Lemon Thyme provides beautiful, yellow-green foliage in the early spring garden, with the promise of classical pink flowers to come and a lovely lemon flavour.
Common Thyme - a classic herb variety that provides a wonderfully strong flavour, that is perfect for pairing with chicken and mushroom dishes as well as roast dinners!
Rosemary - with its delicious scent, beautiful green foliage and blue flowers, Rosemary is one of our favourites, looking good throughout the year.
Lavender 'Hidcote' - this variety is an absolute staple of any herb garden, with its silver, evergreen foliage throughout the year and fabulous, purple flowers as the weather warms up.
Oregano - this variety is a real favourite with our customers, as the foliage is so lush and its flavour is so delicious, making it a great addition to Italian dishes. The flowers it produces in the summer are really pretty, too.
Thyme 'Caborn Wine & Roses' - another fantastic groundcover variety that provides the perfect background for your herb garden and produces beautiful red flowers in summer that resemble little roses!
Moroccan Mint - this beautiful, lush herb has such an incredible, strong aroma and looks great throughout the season. Great to use for all kinds of culinary dishes, such as Mint sauce, seasoning baby potatoes and as a lovely Mint tea!
Blue Flowering Hyssop- one of the most underrated herbs out there - Hyssop produces beautiful blue flowers during summer. Loved by local wildlife.
Thyme Pink Chintz - a low-growing variety of thyme that produces beautiful pink flowers during summer.

How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
