This collection is all about the 'staples', the classic varieties that are perfect for beginning a herb garden from scratch, plants that we simply couldn't be without.
The herb classics that will fill your herb garden:
Thyme 'Silver Queen' - this mid-growing variety of lemony Thyme provides beautiful, silver-green foliage in the early spring garden, with the promise of classical pink flowers to come and a lovely lemon thyme flavour.
Common Thyme - a classic herb variety that provides a wonderfully strong flavour, which is perfect for pairing with chicken and mushroom dishes as well as roast dinners!
Rosemary - with its delicious scent, beautiful green foliage and blue flowers, Rosemary is one of our favourites, looking good throughout the year.
Lavender 'Grosso' - this variety is a fantastic variety of French Lavender, with its lush, evergreen foliage throughout the year and delightful, sweet scent.
Salad Burnet - this variety is a real favourite with our customers, as the foliage is so lush and has a delicate, refreshing flavour that is exactly like cucumber! It is a prolific grower and is a fantastic addition to the herb garden.
Lavender 'Edelweiss' - a herb garden classic with a twist. Edelweiss provides beautiful foliage and a white lavender flower that looks so pretty in your garden.
Sage - this beautiful, lush herb has such an incredible, strong aroma and looks great throughout the season. Great to use for all kinds of culinary dishes, such as seasoning meat and in stuffing, of course!
Thyme 'Sparkling Bright' - a big favourite with our customers, Sparkling Bright has all of the inctredible flavour of its Common Thyme cousin but within variegates foliage that looks stunning.
Lavender 'Fat Head' - a lovely addition to your herb garden, this variety is known as a wonderful pollinator that provides lots of plump, purple flowers for you and the bees to enjoy! The foliage is also beautiful and silver, becoming more intense in colour as the weather gets colder.

How big are the plants?
All herbs are supplied in 9cm pots. They will be freshly picked for your order. The condition of the plants is our primary concern when fulfilling your order. The foliage will differ in size throughout the season and may be clipped prior to dispatch. The herbs are not soft grown and have spent time in unheated conditions. They are a product designed not just to last a few days but to be grown on by yourselves and supply flavour for months to come.
