This is a very exciting, new variety.  This variety of Tarragon is much hardier than traditional French Tarragon.  Yup - a plant that provides the gorgeous flavour of French Tarragon within hardy foliage.  Tolergon Tarragon is hardy down to between -5 and -10

This herb loves sunlight and well-drained soil, so consider planting it in a container with good drainage if you're short on garden space. It's an easy herb plant to look after as long as you ensure that the roots aren't waterlogged or too dry throughout the year, which is great for those just getting started with their herb gardens.

The best time to harvest Tarragon is in the morning when the oils are most concentrated. Snip the stems near the base using scissors or pruning shears. Regular harvesting encourages bushier growth, ensuring a steady supply of fresh leaves.  Tarragon is a culinary powerhouse, lending its distinctive anise-like flavour to a variety of dishes. You can add fresh Tarragon leaves to salads, soups, and sauces to impart a subtle, sophisticated flavour. Alternatively, mix finely chopped French Tarragon with softened butter to create a delectable herb butter. Perfect for spreading on bread or melting over grilled vegetables.
